Business-society representatives came up with the offer and suggestion of how to bring up entrepreneurs.
NSUEM held a round table meeting with invited TOP managers of Novosibirsk companies. The main theme of the meeting is implementing the extra-curricular trajectories in the process of education.
Extra-curricular trajectories – is a new approach in extra-curriculum activities organization, which has no analogue in Russia. NSUEM launches 7 extra-curricular trajectories.
Entering the University each student may choose one of the extra-curricular trajectories. In the frames of each trajectory student will have an opportunity to develop his activity and gain more practical skills, offered by NSUEM resources. Every choice depends on interests and aims of each and every student.
The round table was devoted to the Entrepreneurship trajectory:
- What are the main qualities for the burgeoning entrepreneur?
- What are the main skills and knowledge?
- How can we assist in business professionalism development?
- What criteria should be used for the business skills measurement?
These are the questions being discussed by business society representatives along with NSUEM representatives.
The main features of the potential business are: strategic way of thinking, ability to risk and finding ways out of any situation, sense of purpose, sociability, skills and ability of sales, etc.
To educate the professional businessman NSUEM will cooperate with the leading TOP managers and business trainers, who can share their experience and point out the main development direction.
New mentors are to develop a training program for future businessman. The program will be represented on the next business meeting of representatives of business society and NSUEM.
In NSUEM there 7 extra-curricular trajectories:
NSUEM offers 7 categories:
- Leadership and initiatives;
- International relations;
- Analytics, science and innovation;
- Culture and creation work;
- Healthy lifestyle and safety & security;

According to Pavel Novgorodov, Strategic Development and External Affairs vice-rector: “Each trajectory will be presented as a list of quantitative and qualitative descriptions that should be achieved by every student as well as a list of events, that student should take part in, according to the chosen trajectory.
This approach allows motivating and activating students within the extracurricular activities. For another thing it is a tool for preparation to Master’s program, Doctorate and future career.”
