Eduard Gerhardt has prepared a presentation about Coburg University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He also carried out a comparative analysis of German and Russian systems of higher education to students who wished to train in Germany, their differences were not unexpected. In particular, he noted that German universities are divided on Universities specialized on fundamental research and Universities of Applied Sciences. In addition, the curriculum in the universities of Germany is less strict – students choose themselves what to study:
— Not just each University, each Professor is independent in it is his decision what and how to teach for a particular discipline what scientific studies should be conducted, said Professor Gerhardt.— And this is the uniqueness of German universities. In addition, German universities exercise control one-time for students only at the end of the semester, but the control of Russian universities is constant.
