The main idea of the project is NSUEM structure reorganization, based on setting off four new faculties, which are:
1. Public Sector Faculty;
2. Corporate economics, Law and Informational systems Faculty;
3. Business Faculty;
4. Educational background Faculty
Pavel Novgorodov represented the future project and until 25th of January all the project quotations are accepted on p.a.novgorodov@nsuem.ru
New structure is planned to be launched on the 1st of September, 2016.
The main problem and requirement of the reload program is:
- “Economic Universities qualify multi-skilled specialist, which sadly are not demanded by the employers, therefore the first thing to do is come up with cooperation with our possible customers /regions, employers/. We have to be aimed on the labour market. – Pavel Novgorodov says.
NSUEM held two Education Quality Forums, where we identified one of the most important criteria of the education quality: the opportunity to practice gained knowledge, become a practice orientated University.
The main impact factors for the structure formation:
- Employers: main demand, dynamics, perspectives and future professions;
- Development strategies of Russian Federation, Siberia, Novosibirsk;
- In-market perception of NSUEM: traditions and historical directions;
- Higher Attestation Commission list: Doctoral degree;
- Federal State Educational Standard directions
New structure should represent the main aim of the University - development of competence highly qualified and demanded professionals.
Stages of reorganization:
1. Present educational product line audit;
2. Identifying of target-orientated product line;
3. Connecting NSUEM product line with the market demand
Main problems of present situation:
1. Non-market orientated specializations;
2. Professions which are absent on the labour market;
3. Mismatch of program’s subjects with Employers demands;
4. Some profiles and directions of education do not reflect concrete Employers.
5. Mismatch of profiles with professions and professions with practical training;
6. Weak interaction within vocational secondary education and high education;
7. No connection with Bachelor – Master degrees.
